Import Rules allow administrators to apply conditions to data as it is imported from the CMMS. Import Rules are primarily managed in Web Services; however, color import rules are configured here.
- Open the Administration screen.
- Open the Import Interface panel.
- Select the desired interface by clicking on the tabs across the top of the screen.
- Note: For this example the Work Order tab is selected. However, the following steps will apply to any of the other tabs that permit you to make rules.
- Select Rules.
- Click New Rule.
- Enter a name for the rule. Enter “If” conditions to define which records should be processed when the rule is triggered. These conditions are based on values in inbound records.
- Select “Then” actions to tell PaSTA what to do with the incoming record.
- Change Color: set the fill color of a specified column.
