This function is available in both the Work Week Assignment (WWA) and Work Week Scheduling (WWS) screens.
The Slide Schedule function allows users to move scheduled work forward or backward. In the WWS, you can Slide Schedule by both day and week, while the WWA supports sliding by week only.
Exceptions to the Slide Schedule function:
- If the slide would move work into T-0: The Tasks will not slide.
- If the Work Order is a PM Forecast:
- If the Order is “PM Forecast Locked”: The Task will not slide.
- If the Order is not Locked: PM Forecast to be slid is Sequence checked to be sure it does not violate a previous or subsequent Forecast Task.
- If the Work Center is configured in the Administration screen under Control Values > Slide Config to use Start No Earlier and Finish No Later fields: The Task will not slide if the slide date falls outside of this range.
