Note: CICS use cases are based on real client implementations and are shown for reference. Each CIC can be fully customized to align with your organization’s workflow and CMMS terminology. In this example, the client integrates with SAP.
Overview

In this example the client implemented a CIC that allows planners to define everything required to execute a work order — labor, materials, and services — from a single screen in PaSTA.
From the Work Week Assignment (WWA) grid, users can right-click a work order and launch a centralized planning view. Within that interface, they can assign labor, add or modify work tasks, include required materials, and plan external services — all while writing directly back to the CMMS in real time.
Structured Work Order Planning

This CIC brings structure, visibility, and control to the planning process by enabling:
- Task-level resource planning.
- Labor allocation with defined crew size and duration.
- Stock and non-stock material planning.
- Service cost planning for contracted services.
- Real-time synchronization with the CMMS- no duplicate entry.
Instead of moving between separate screens for labor, materials, and services, this CIC consolidates everything into one workflow to accelerate the planning process.
